The all new Vulcan V2 Pro bait boat. Pro basically means that this boat has GPS & Sonar. The GPS Now comes with 60 satellites compared to the previous 12! This increases your GPS accuracy even more, making it that little bit more accurate than before. GPS is still accurate to within 1m but we found the 60 satellite a touch more accurate than the 12. There is honestly not much in it but if you are looking for the GPS to be as accurate as possible and are on a budget then the 60 satellite Vulcan is a solid option. You will only reach 60 satellites in a very open area, often we found we were reaching around 40 or so depending on location. The V2 version also has a few design changes to the rear lights, battery covers and the on/off switch and bonnet.

These come with the new and improved sonar. The sonar will reach up to 300m of range and the sonar screen is also entirely waterproof to match the boat and the remote. The boatman sonar is incredibly accurate and is comparable to a deeper for example. The nice thing with these is it had its own independent screen that attaches to the top of the remote keeping nice and compact and means you do not have to rely on apps, signal boosters etc. The screen as well as displaying the actual reading below will also display depth and water temp. You can adjust these between ft and metres, and degrees centigrade and Fahrenheit. The boatman sonar has a depth range of 2.5ft - 100ft. There is a fish finder feature however for this to be accurate a minimum water depth of 8-9ft is required. In our opinion sonar is to find features and not fish, And this is where our sonar is incredibly beneficial. Being able to find drop offs, areas without weed, gravel bars etc can really make a huge difference. Another thing to note is what you see on your sonar screen is live data, And what we mean by that is when you are towing a deeper for example, the boat is actually not where you are reading below and this can easily be mistaken so if you see a narrow window of opportunity it is actually possible to drop you bait or rig in the wrong place. With our sonar being actually attached and part of the boat, what you see on the sonar is directly below the boat.

Having a combination of both Sonar and GPS is incredible. You can sail the boat around finding features, points of interest and save them on the GPS remote to return back to. Once you have found spots you want to bait up or actually fish you can actually just turn the sonar off all together.

This boat has been designed here in the Uk by the Boatman Uk team. We wanted a boat with the ability to load the rig from the top which makes sending your rig and some free offerings an absolute doddle. The boats have 2 stainless steel bombay door style hoppers which can be opened individual or together, the doors are manual close. We have chosen a volt meter over a battery gauge, the minimum working voltage is 14. When the boats get to having less than 500 meters of range in battery life, the boats headlights will start to flash to warn you. If you go to a slower speed then the boat will go for a longer period of time. The boats come in 3 colours, Carbon, Black or Vulcan Camouflage. This version having GPS means you get 16 stored locations plus home point so you can sail the boat to a stored location, drop your rig/bait and return back to the stored home point all with 2 button presses and then you can forget about the remote until you need to sail the boat to the edge to retrieve. This will allow you to hold the rod, sink the line, set the bobbins etc.  A feature we incorporated with the boat and remote is to be 100% waterproof The remote will float in water so if you have an accident you will not need to replace an expensive remote. The boat is also designed to be fully waterproof, Numerous test have been done where the boat has been submerged and no water is taken on, Most boats are only waterproof to a certain level whereas this is entirely waterproof. The boats take 2 10ah batteries which just slot in each side so no fiddly plugs to play with. The run time is between 2-5 hours depending on the chosen boat speed which is selectable on the remote. High speed is 60 meters per minute, medium is 45 meters per minute, slow is 30 meters per minute. The slow speed is ideal if towing a deeper etc for scanning the lake bead for features. There is and additional clip on handle supplied with boats for use when filling the hoppers to the top to avoid putting your hands in the boat. The motors have a built in weed guard / protector and are incredibly quiet, virtually silent. The boat will hold up to 2.5kgs of weight. As with all of our models the boats have 500m of range and have compass compatibility built in. The main board is easily accessible and is encased in a full waterproof casing which means if you have a basic version and wish to upgrade to GPS at a later date it is incredibly easy. The lights are very bright which is something we made sure was improved upon for night fishing, You will certainly not lose sight of this boat in the dark. As with all of the boatman boats now, these also have compass built into the board as standard

The boats are supplied with 2 10ah batteries, 2 mains battery chargers, 1 mains 5v 1amp usb plug for charging the remote, a USB C lead for charging the remote, cleaning towel. Hard case.
